Labour Court rejects Jevsejeva’s minimum-notice appeal

The Labour Court dismissed Jelena Jevsejeva’s appeal against Emerald Facility Service over her allegation that the company effectively dismissed her without notice after she declined to transfer with a cleaning contract. In a decision signed on 27 January 2026, the Court accepted that the employer had made bona fide efforts to identify alternative roles and held that her employment ended when she declined the transfer. The complaint was referred more than seven months later, with no application to extend time.
