The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Anna Kosowska €1,280 after finding Fitzwilliam Nursery & Montessori School had not provided her with an employment contract. Adjudication Officer Penelope McGrath’s decision was dated 22 September 2026.
Kosowska said she repeatedly raised childcare safety and food concerns and believed she was dismissed in retaliation. The school said it had offered her a contract, which she refused because it showed a later start date. The WRC rejected her complaints that she was unfairly dismissed for making a protected disclosure and penalised for raising a safety issue.
