WRC rejects Sara Abbas’s complaint over request for another employment contract copy

The Workplace Relations Commission found Sara Abbas’s complaint against The Physique Consultants Limited was not well founded. Dated 24 September 2026, the decision concerned her request for another copy of her employment agreement after she had left the company. Abbas accepted that she received a contract when she started work, but said she later sought a copy to understand her contractual position. The company submitted that it had provided a detailed written agreement at the start of her employment. The adjudicator found that her complaint concerned a post-employment request outside the scope of the Act.
