The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Clodagh Rodgers €285 after finding her employer, Bonamy Limited, trading as Rockhill House Estate, unlawfully deducted wages by failing to pay for three days of force majeure leave. The decision was dated 8 January 2025. Rodgers said she was owed pay for three days after a family emergency. The Adjudication Officer found she was entitled to the leave, while rejecting her separate Carer’s Leave complaint after finding she had resigned. Three other complaints were withdrawn.
