The Workplace Relations Commission found Eoin Gillespie’s complaint against Gairmeidi Caomhnaithe Dhun Na Ngall Teoranta Sioen Ireland not well founded. Gillespie said reducing his annual bonus from €1,000 to €800 was an unlawful wage deduction. The decision by Adjudication Officer Shay Henry was dated 2 July 2026. The company said the bonus above €500 was discretionary and tied to profitability, which had declined. The officer found that Gillespie’s contract did not specify a bonus and that the company’s lower profitability was not refuted.
