The Labour Court dismissed William McKeever’s appeal over his complaint under the Terms of Employment (Information) Act 1994. He had asked the Court to replace the company named in his complaint with his actual employer. McKeever was employed by PFP Fire Systems Ireland Limited, rather than the named respondent, PFP Ireland High Performance Systems Limited. The Court said it had no statutory power to make the requested substitution and upheld the decision to decline jurisdiction. The merits of the complaint were not decided. The determination was dated 23 August 2023.
