The Labour Court recommended £2,000 compensation for a University Of Limerick grounds workperson who lost structured overtime, in full and final settlement of the claim. It also recommended continuing another worker’s allowance on a personal-to-jobholder basis. The recommendation was signed on 28 July 1994. The two disputes were brought by Manufacturing Science Finance. The University had stopped the allowance, which had been paid for additional duties, and argued it was only payable to staff on shifts.
