In a recommendation dated 31 October 1986, the Labour Court proposed a 3.5% pay increase from 1 January 1986 and a further 2% from 1 October under an agreement ending 31 March 1987 for workers at Snowcream Limited. The Irish Transport and General Workers' Union had sought a range of pay and workplace changes. The Court did not recommend conceding the union's further claims.
