WRC dismisses Giorgi Karanaia’s written-terms complaint against Hallquar

The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed Giorgi Karanaia’s complaint against Hallquar Engineering Services Ltd, trading as Enexiv, over written employment terms. The decision was dated 10 April 2026. Karanaia said he sought PAYE employee status and written terms, while Hallquar said he had a contractual arrangement with Enagh Contracts Ltd, which supplied his labour. The adjudicator found Karanaia was not and had never been an employee of Hallquar; a discussion about a possible job did not create an employment contract. The complaint was not well founded.
