The Workplace Relations Commission found Megan Creegan’s complaint against the Health Service Executive over unpaid work travel expenses was out of time and ruled it had no jurisdiction. The decision was dated 25 November 2025. Creegan said the expenses arose from work travel; the HSE accepted they had not been paid but argued they were expenses, not wages covered by the Payment of Wages Act, and that the claim was late. The WRC found the claimed February and March 2024 payments fell outside the applicable period and that the grievance process did not justify extending the time limit. It did not decide the merits of the expense claim.
