WRC rejects worker’s complaint over request for more predictable work

The Workplace Relations Commission found Nicolle Garibaldi Sartori’s complaint against Cpl Solutions Ltd t/a Covalen not well founded in a decision dated 11 March 2025. Sartori said her employer had not given a reasoned reply to her request for more predictable and secure working conditions; the company disputed the complaint and argued she had not met the service requirement. The adjudicator found that Sartori referred the complaint before completing six months’ service and her probationary period, both required before an employee could make such a request. The written record also did not appear to show that she had made a request covered by the legislation. No award was recorded.
