The Workplace Relations Commission directed San Siro Limited, trading as Browne’s Steakhouse, to pay Adisa Ajredini €1,032 compensation for failing to give notice, €700 for Sunday work and €400 for public holiday entitlements. Adjudication Officer Catherine Byrne dated the decision 27 March 2025. The officer found Ajredini’s job redundant after the restaurant ceased trading, with statutory redundancy pay subject to her PRSI contribution status. She found the Sunday premium paid was unreasonable and that a higher allowance was due. The complaint concerned four public holidays in 2023.
Browne’s Steakhouse worker awarded notice, Sunday and public holiday compensation
