The Workplace Relations Commission directed San Siro Limited, trading as Browne’s Steakhouse, to pay Amanda Ajredini €2,032 compensation for failing to give notice and €507.70 for public holiday entitlements. Adjudication Officer Catherine Byrne dated the decision 27 March 2025. The officer found Ajredini’s job redundant after the restaurant ceased trading and said she was entitled to statutory redundancy pay, subject to her PRSI contribution status, and four weeks’ notice. Her Sunday allowance complaint was not well founded. The WRC declined to investigate her complaint about three unpaid shifts because the respondent had not been properly notified of it.
