WRC rejects Gnusinskaja’s employment terms complaint against Gmc Retail

The Workplace Relations Commission found Jana Gnusinskaja’s complaint against Gmc Retail Limited not well founded, with no award recorded. Adjudication officer Breiffni O’Neill’s decision was dated 8 April 2025. Gnusinskaja said she received a written statement of her core employment terms outside the five-day period and was not given the employee handbook containing disciplinary procedures. The company argued it was not required to provide those procedures. The officer found no statutory requirement to provide disciplinary procedures and said the terms complaint was referred outside the applicable time limit.
