The Workplace Relations Commission found that an employee was not discriminated against over his dismissal by a start-up based in Limerick. WRC Adjudication Officer Conor Stokes dated the decision 14 July 2025. The employee said a comment about “hyper focussing” led him to believe the company had inferred a disability; the company said it dismissed him for performance concerns. The WRC found he had provided no facts supporting an inference of discrimination and accepted the company’s performance explanation. It also found that he had neither disclosed a disability nor sought reasonable accommodation.
