The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Eem Building Solutions Ltd to pay Yahia Madani €521.98 in unpaid wages. The decision was dated 21 February 2024. Madani said he worked for the company for three days in May 2023 and was not paid. The WRC accepted his evidence that he worked 25.5 hours and had not received payment. The WRC found his unpaid-wages complaint well founded. It rejected his separate complaint that he had not received written terms of employment, finding that the employer’s five-day deadline had not passed before he left the job.
