The Labour Court rejected Patricia Barrett’s appeal against a decision that her complaint against Camphill Communities of Ireland was not well founded. The determination was dated 1 September 2022, and the Court affirmed the original decision. Barrett said the company refused her request to return to 19 hours a week after the parties had agreed in May 2020 that she would work 10 hours a week. The Court found that agreement remained in place until September and that she was paid the €150 a week properly due under it. It concluded that no deduction had been made from her wages.
