The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) found Plamen Danev’s contractual notice complaint against Parkfly Limited well founded and ordered the company to pay him €2,666.40. The decision was dated 2 September 2022. Danev said he was owed six weeks’ notice pay of €6,266.40 after his employment ended by redundancy. The Department of Social Protection had paid him €3,600 in statutory minimum notice. The adjudication officer found that his contract entitled him to six weeks’ pay and that a shortfall remained after the statutory payment.
