The Labour Court directed Paul Tully, trading as Tully’s Hotel, to pay former employee Lorna Hession €6,785 after finding that a Rights Commissioner decision had not been implemented. The determination was signed on 18 July 2016. Hession, who worked at the hotel in Castlerea, complained under the National Minimum Wage Act that Tully had failed to carry out the earlier decision. No appeal had been brought against that decision within the time limit, and the Court determined that Tully must pay Hession in accordance with it.
