The Labour Court recommended that Bus Eireann and 14 Drivers, represented by NBRU and SIPTU, re-engage directly over compensation, disturbance payments and voluntary severance after their routes transferred to a new operator. The recommendation was signed on 20 August 2019. The drivers were based at the Newbridge and Edenderry depots. The Court said the matters could be referred back to it if the parties failed to reach agreement.
