The Labour Court recommended that a worker accept her transfer from Portlaoise to Rathdowney and that the member accept that all appeal procedures had been exhausted. The Court signed its recommendation on 28 April 1994. The Irish Bank Officials' Association had sought an appeal under the bank’s Transferability Agreement. The Court also recommended that the parties agree how to interpret and operate the scheme, citing ambiguity and inconsistency in its application.
