WRC rejects two equality complaints against Jysk Limited

The Workplace Relations Commission found Julia Skorohhodova’s two complaints against Jysk Limited not well-founded. Adjudication Officer Ewa Sobanska’s decision was dated 27 May 2025. Skorohhodova alleged bullying, harassment, false accusations and unfair disciplinary action after raising workplace concerns, and said the treatment led her to resign. She claimed discriminatory dismissal or dismissal for opposing discrimination, and discrimination in employment conditions on civil status grounds. Jysk rejected the claims. Skorohhodova conceded that she did not believe her treatment or resignation was due to her civil status; the officer found no evidence of less favourable treatment on that ground or discriminatory dismissal.
