Labour Court recommends Exitex recognise workers’ union for negotiations

In 1989, the Labour Court recommended that Exitex Ltd recognise the Amalgamated Transport And General Workers Union for negotiations on appropriate issues. The recommendation was signed on 4 September 1989. The union said production workers had joined and wanted to discuss workplace matters. Exitex said it had no objection to workers joining a union but believed it had no obligation to meet it.
