The Labour Court recommended £700 compensation for Worker A after finding she had not been treated reasonably by Noonan's Cleaning Limited. It did not recommend conceding the Federated Workers' Union Of Ireland’s claim for Worker B. The recommendation was signed on 15 May 1989. Worker A was a site supervisor who disputed the company’s account that she left voluntarily after refusing a transfer. Worker B, her son, had been dismissed after refusing instructions. The Court took account of warnings issued to him when rejecting the union’s claim on his behalf.
