Labour Court recommends ending Tedcastle employees’ 5% contribution

The Labour Court did not recommend conceding the Irish Transport And General Workers' Union’s claim for productivity payments at Tedcastle Aviation Fuels Limited. The recommendation was signed on 17 December 1987. As a way to resolve the dispute, the Court recommended that the employees’ voluntary 5% contribution cease from 1 November 1987 and that they agree to two changes in current arrangements set out in the company’s submission.
