WRC upholds Accenture worker’s final-wages complaint, but makes no award

The Workplace Relations Commission found that Accenture Limited had unpaid wages due to Sukhpreet Singh Bawa when he complained, but made no monetary award after the company paid the amounts in full before its decision, dated 15 June 2026. It rejected his separate claim for €1,410.26 in additional notice pay. Bawa argued that his eight weeks’ notice should have been calculated as two months’ salary. The WRC found the statutory entitlement was expressed in weeks and no contract term required the monthly calculation sought. Accenture disputed both complaints and said it had correctly processed his notice and holiday pay.
