WRC rejects Inmar Iomer’s €2,126 training-cost deduction complaint

The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Inmar Iomer’s complaint that Bidvest Noonan Ltd Industrial unlawfully deducted €2,126 from his final wages for training costs. The decision was dated 3 November 2025. Iomer said there was no agreement to deduct the training cost directly from his wages. The company said he had signed an agreement to repay the cost if he left before completing two years’ service. The adjudicator found the agreement was part of his employment contract and the deduction was lawful. No compensation was awarded.
