The Workplace Relations Commission disallowed Viktorija Danilova’s redundancy-payment appeal and found her complaints about parental leave, maternity protection and wages not well founded. Three other complaints were withdrawn at the hearing. Adjudication Officer Bríd Deering’s decision was dated 8 May 2026.
Danilova argued that her redundancy lump sum was paid late. The WRC said it had no power to award redress for late payment after the sum was paid. It found that notice and holiday pay fell due through the May payroll cycle and had been paid in full, and rejected her Payment of Wages complaint. Her employer denied the claims and said the redundancy process was fair, with opportunities to apply for other roles.
