The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed care assistant Michele Milne’s claim that Danu Homecare Limited unlawfully reduced her wages. Adjudication officer Catherine Byrne dated the decision 6 February 2026. Milne alleged she continued to work 84 hours per fortnight but was paid for a guaranteed minimum of 60, leaving travel and time between client visits unpaid. The employer said a change to its HSE contract led it to guarantee 60 hours. The adjudicator found Milne had not established a contractual entitlement to pay for 84 hours per fortnight.
