WRC rules Dariush Gholizadeh’s €4,000 wage claim against Dale Entertainments out of time

The Workplace Relations Commission found it had no jurisdiction to decide Dariush Gholizadeh’s claim for €4,000 in unpaid wages from Dale Entertainments Limited because it was filed outside the statutory time limit. The decision was dated 31 March 2025, and no award was made. Gholizadeh said the wages were due on 1 January 2024. The company denied owing the claimed amount, saying invoiced work had been paid and that about €300 for uninvoiced work would be paid on receipt of a proper invoice. The WRC did not decide the wage dispute on its merits.
