WRC rejects Kelvin Gopaul’s written-terms complaint against Society of St Vincent de Paul

The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Kelvin Gopaul’s complaint against the Society of St Vincent de Paul, finding it misconceived. The decision was dated 14 March 2025. Gopaul alleged that the finance officer role he was asked to do differed from its job description. The adjudication officer found that he had received the job specification and written terms and conditions before starting work, and said the law concerns written employment terms rather than whether duties match a job description.
