WRC rejects Antonio Inzulza Pérez’s training complaint

The WRC found that VGL Support Services Ireland Ltd had not breached the Terms of Employment (Information) Act in response to Antonio Inzulza Pérez’s complaint about training. The decision was dated 28 February 2025. Pérez said training entitlements were not stated in his contract and raised other concerns about his treatment at work. The adjudicator found that the written-statement requirement to specify any training entitlement was introduced after Pérez began employment, so it did not apply to his case. The adjudicator said the other workplace concerns fell outside the scope of the complaint under that Act.
