The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Aoife Cleary’s victimisation complaint against St. Patrick's National School Lurgybrack and found her complaint about terms of employment not well founded. Her holiday-pay complaint was withdrawn. The decision was dated 1 July 2025. Cleary alleged that the school treated her unfairly in recruitment and employment terms because of proceedings she had taken against another school. The school denied victimisation, saying appointments were based on interview performance and contract terms reflected available posts. The WRC found procedural deficiencies in the 2024 interview process but said they applied to all candidates and did not establish victimisation. It also found the terms offered met the legal requirements.
