The WRC found two complaints by a worker against a company not well founded and ruled that four others were outside its jurisdiction or time limits. Adjudication Officer Seamus Clinton dated the decision 11 March 2025. The worker said she paid a €26,000 recruitment fee, was unfairly dismissed, faced race discrimination and harassment, and was owed wages during an appeal. The WRC had no jurisdiction over the two recruitment-fee complaints, treating them as a criminal matter. It found the dismissal complaint was out of time and the equality complaints outside its jurisdiction because there was no relevant occurrence within the six-month period. The contract-change and appeal-period wages complaints were not well founded.
WRC rejects worker’s complaints, including €26,000 recruitment-fee claims
