Gonzalez Zipa said wages shown on her payslip for the week ending 19 May 2024 were not paid after the company ceased trading. The company’s director said it was seeking a liquidator, but the WRC found it had not entered liquidation. The respondent did not attend the hearing; the adjudicator proceeded after confirming it had notice and found the claim established on Gonzalez Zipa’s evidence.
