The Workplace Relations Commission directed Dublin Airport Authority to pay Wojciech Lewandowski €300 after finding an unlawful deduction in the calculation of pay for bank holidays he worked. The decision was dated 15 January 2025. Lewandowski said that after moving from a 27-hour weekend role to full-time work, he received up to five fewer hours’ pay for each bank holiday worked. The authority said a local arrangement attached to his former role did not transfer. The adjudicator found he could reasonably expect the earlier payment arrangement to continue and upheld the complaint.
