The Workplace Relations Commission found a victimisation complaint against Al Read Electrical not well founded after complainant Razvan Popan did not attend the hearing. Adjudication officer Patricia Owens dated the decision 14 January 2025. Popan had alleged that his manager criticised his arrival and departure times after he complained about workplace bullying. The company denied the allegations and said Popan did not return from annual leave or contact it to say he was resigning. The officer said notice had been sent and no explanation for Popan’s absence was received.
