The Workplace Relations Commission found Robert Frazer’s complaint against General Paints Limited not well-founded. Adjudication officer Christina Ryan’s decision was dated 4 March 2025. Frazer, an agency worker assigned as a financial accountant, said he was not told about a Financial Planning and Analyst vacancy. General Paints said the vacancy was advertised internally and publicly, and that Frazer was told about it at interview. Ryan found he had been informed of the role and was on notice of it during his assignment, so the company had not breached the law’s requirement to inform agency workers of vacancies.
