WRC rejects Judy Fisher’s training and contract-notice complaints against English Talks

The Workplace Relations Commission found both complaints by Judy Fisher against English Talks not well founded, with no award recorded. Adjudication Officer Patsy Doyle dated the decision 11 November 2024. Fisher alleged the language school failed to provide required DELTA training free of charge and did not notify her in writing of a change to her employment terms when Academic Director duties were proposed. English Talks denied both claims. The officer found no demonstrated refusal to provide mandatory training and no established change to Fisher’s employment particulars.
