The Workplace Relations Commission found five complaints by former manager Ricardo Trony against Waterford Ledc Clg not well founded. The decision was dated 11 November 2024. The complaints included claims of race discrimination and dismissal for opposing discrimination, excessive working hours, an annual leave shortfall and an unlawful probation extension. The adjudication officer found Trony had not established facts or identified a comparator showing less favourable treatment on race or national origin. Records showed no breach of the maximum working hours rules, that 12.5 days of annual leave had accrued and been taken, and that the probation period did not exceed six months.
