WRC finds Norma Glennon’s employment complaint was out of time

The Workplace Relations Commission found Norma Glennon’s complaint against Blessington And District Ce Ltd was outside the statutory time limits. The decision, dated 6 January 2025, did not determine the merits of her complaint about written notice of a change to her employment terms. Glennon said she continued working after her last pay at the end of September 2022 and that some of her work was unpaid. The respondent said her employment ended on 30 September 2022 and she later stayed in an unpaid voluntary role. The WRC did not rule on whether her employment continued or whether wages were owed.
