The Workplace Relations Commission found Amir Sajad Esmaeily’s payment of wages complaint against Accountancy and Business College (Ireland ) Limited was out of time and outside its jurisdiction. The decision was dated 25 April 2024, and the merits were not decided. Esmaeily claimed unpaid overtime, later specifying 251 hours and €22,757.32. The college said the work was contractual and had been paid, and argued that the claim was late. The adjudicator found there was no evidence-based reasonable cause to extend the time limit, so the complaint could not be heard.
