The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Pharmtrans Direct Limited to pay Andrei Ilimca €4,200 in net compensation for unpaid wages, untaken holiday pay and failure to provide notice. The decision was dated 12 March 2024. Ilimca had worked for the company for 20 weeks when it ceased trading after its Uniphar delivery contract ended. The WRC found his pay-in-lieu-of-notice and wage complaints well founded. It also found two rights-during-notice complaints and a duplicate annual-leave complaint not well founded.
