The Workplace Relations Commission directed Independent Consultant Engineering Limited Ic Engineering to pay commissioning manager James O’Connor €19,645.73 in wage arrears and €2,073.36 in compensation. Adjudication Officer Davnet O’Driscoll dated the decision 17 January 2025.
O’Connor said five wage complaints concerned arrears from April to August 2023. The company did not attend the hearing. The adjudicator accepted O’Connor’s evidence and supporting emails. A separate complaint over wages due in February 2022 was dismissed as out of time and not well-founded.
