The Workplace Relations Commission found that National Vehicle Distribution failed to make required gender pay gap returns and directed it to comply with the reporting regulations. The decision, dated 11 January 2024, also found a separate complaint by Niamh Murray about her employment terms not well founded. Ms Murray said she had not received written terms of employment or updated terms after a promotion. The company said it provided her contract through DocuSign and denied that she had been promoted. The adjudication officer found that Ms Murray had digitally signed her contract and had not established a breach of the law on employment terms or that she had been promoted. The company conceded it had not submitted the required gender pay gap returns. The officer found that complaint well founded and directed the company to comply with the Employment Equality Act regulations on gender pay gap information.
