WRC rejects two wage complaints against Maxnrich Limited t/a Mhc Contracting

The Workplace Relations Commission found two complaints by David O’Neill against Maxnrich Limited t/a Mhc Contracting not well founded in a decision dated 13 November 2023. O’Neill, a Lead Hand Carpenter, sought €720.49 net for one week and €712.47 net for another, claiming unpaid wages. The respondent did not attend the hearing, but the WRC said it had notice and sufficient opportunity to attend. The adjudicator considered O’Neill’s uncontested evidence but found he had not substantiated the complaints after he failed to provide promised supporting documents, including bank and Revenue statements and payslips.
