WRC rejects Janos Meszaros’s wage complaint against Martin Walsh Bread Agent

The Workplace Relations Commission found Janos Meszaros’s Payment of Wages Act complaint against Martin Walsh Bread Agent not well-founded and said it accordingly failed. The decision was dated 18 December 2023. Mr Meszaros said Martin Walsh had arranged delivery work for him and that he had not been paid. Mr Walsh said Mr Meszaros was self-employed and that Gallaghers was responsible for payment. The WRC was satisfied that Mr Walsh had not employed Mr Meszaros and was not responsible for paying him.
