The Workplace Relations Commission awarded part-time driver Francis Corby €1,176 after finding Ocl Laundry Services Limited failed to give him a written statement of his employment terms. The award equals four weeks’ remuneration. Corby said he received no employment terms during his work with the company, which began on 1 June 2020. The WRC accepted his uncontested evidence and found the complaint well founded. Its decision was dated 6 November 2023.
