She said her employment ended by redundancy on 6 April 2022, without redundancy pay or notice pay. The company did not attend the hearing. The WRC found she had not received the eight weeks’ minimum notice pay due to her. It allowed her redundancy complaint on the basis of two weeks’ pay per year or part-year of reckonable service, plus one week, subject to confirmation of insurability.
