WRC says it had no jurisdiction over holiday-pay complaint brought out of time

The WRC found Kenneth Doyle’s holiday-pay complaint against John Slattery And Company Limited was brought outside the time limit and was not well founded; the merits were not decided. The decision was dated 28 September 2022. Doyle sought holiday pay after his employment ended. He said €3,000.10 remained due, while the company said the gross holiday pay of €3,679 had been paid in full, less statutory deductions. The Adjudication Officer was not satisfied that Doyle’s omission of the claim from an earlier complaint form justified the delay.
